So I have been impressed with the large numbers of lakes that are turning on and producing huge limits and toads. Is it just that technology is allowing us to see more? Bullards Bar with 40lbs of spots, Delta with 10 limits over 10 pounds and two over 10lbs!, Melones, And on and on. So, my question ...

I have been taking my grandson for 5 years now. He enjoys the youth activities and I thank all of those that provide their time to introduce kids to something other than video games. Unfortunately, he doesn't like to sit and listen to the speakers. I have managed to get to listen to some when his Da...
Re: Hydrowave
Sometimes I have to shut it off as I've seen bass 2 feet under my boat staring at the speaker in shallow water. They don't bite when I present baits then, but it sure draws them. When I was in clear 10' and they were all following my boat, I was able to get one to bite on a baby brush hog making it ...

Why do they make you take the fish out 2 miles to release. I would think since many of the fish this time of year are in spawn mode and taken from beds, that releasing them closer to shore so they could either make another bed or take over one would be better for the fishery? I could see it during t...

I was using a 6:4:1. Tried pausing it, speeding it, almost dead sticking. But, when that bait got to where I could see it and then the fish, the fish just lost interest each time.

New to swimbaiting. I've had this happen a couple of times, Throwing a swimbait and right when it gets where I can see it at the boat, there is a big girl following, but not committing. Although I don't use it all the time, it is invaluable to find waypoints of submerged structure and identify underwater creek channels and points. I would not buy anything that doesn't have it. And linking them together keeps the waypoints synced.

I just watched this show (had it on my DVR) and was really impressed that they penalized the Pro's for throwing their fish back instead of releasing them with their hand below the gunnel and penalize them for letting the bass hit the carpet. I've been using the 15lb on my spinning rods for about 6 months. I enjoyed the extra casting distance. I have noticed that when using light techniques (not enough weight to keep steady pressure like sight/bed fishing), the line wraps up and around on the end.
