Re: Mustang Hydrostatic lifevest recall
This is why I stick to the old fashioned ski vest type PFD. Being in the water, possibly unconscious, is not the time to find out there should have been a recall. Lots of folks disagree ... that's fine. But for me and my family.....

If its not BASS or FLW there is no such thing (or really rare) as instant results made available to the public. It amazes me how much some of these tournaments are promoted and have a "buzz" going but NO real follow-up. Story, pics, the works! Just take notice of future tournaments and ho...

Most of the Marathons that we coming apart was about 6-7 years ago from what I remember. I had three of them come apart on my last trailer and stayed away from them until recently. Great info. I have a question however. How do either of these "anchors" hold on a very rocky bottom? Not gravel, but boulders. If they were wedged between rocks, wouldn't a strong wind put tremendous pressure on the whole apparatus? I love the concept and maybe someday....... (also, are th...

Not to hijack your topic, but the Aaron Martin quote struck me. KVD is an awesome fisherman, but I think part of his success is due to the fact that most of the other Elites are intimidated by him. With the exception of Skeet, I think most don't believe they can beat him. They are beat before they l...

Remember that show was filmed in mid November and before the real A- Rig craze was rolling. Most of those Pro's had them long before Paul Elias put it on the map at the FLW event. Amistad was already a great swimbait lake before the A-rig. One of the nice things about the show is the little "g...

I'll be the first to throw a fly into the ointment. Really enjoyed the show and it was well worth the cost. Love the format. I've got one and would not buy another one. Casting distance is reduced as line skips over the "waves." Agree they are heavy and cumbersome. They do seem to reduce looping somewhat.

Both audio and video were choppy at times. Most prevalent as the anglers walked from their boat to the podium. More annoying to me was the yelling into the mic by the MC.
