Orville Ball did a full report on the little lake I fish back in '80 I believe. Unfortunately the powers that be(morons) could care less who he is & what he had to say. Have a couple of copys of the report, break them out occasionally, good read

Thanks. This a remanufactured 115 merc 2 stroke, has run fine couple of years I've had it, all of a sudden very hard to start first thing. Will talk to my mechanic about that as I'm at 5200' Thanks

I have had a St Croix glass cranking rod for years & like it ok for that. Handle always seemed a little short. Don't crank much any more but have used it last few years with a wopper plooper

I live on a lake that's wall to wall docks & started skipping tubes a millon years ago with a 6' spinning rod. Once I had the hang of it I tried different lengths from 5 to 7' & found very little difference. Gave that up years & use strickly bait casters, more accurate for me & power

When I saw the video, part of which seemed a little odd, I picked up Sowbelly & reread the chapter on him, no doubt has it in him. Was curious, the author talks about a meeting in'99 with 7 big bass guys, Long was the youngster. Tom, were you there?

Been to Belize twice, love to live there. First trip rained so hard we were up to our knees, still went back & stayed for two weeks. Got bonefish, permit & punked by some tarpon. Have a great trip

Thanks Tom, but the wire/braid would have to run to one side or the other because of the fin behind the hook, that ok? Afraid running it through the body the bait would get torn up
