Well the good new is the wind has been blowing all week but today the lake is like glass.
Oh wait I almost forgot, I saw 3 kayaks enjoying a 20 plus mile long lake, and the were all together

Shasta Anglers, whats open
I have not been on my boat for 8 weeks and need to spend a day fishing. I live on a lake that's closed which adds to my frustration. Thinking outside the box a little, I can get to Shasta in a little over 3 hours and that is within range of my tolerance. So before getting on Hi-way 5 and heading Nor...

This is a case of monkey see, monkey do! Ca sold 1.6 million fishing licenses, stamps and other outdoor required permits in 2019 to the tune of $60.7 million Dollars. I think Ca should have an "Outdoor Stimulus Package" and return our money since they feel we are uneducated to the extent t...

I am curious, I thought orgs had to apply for a permit in June or July the prior year at the Jamboree?
So if I have that right, why are we learning in February about an April tournament.
Also is it $200.00 plus an additional $20.00 each day ($40.00 total) for big fish?

Re: 29.42 to Win Clear Lake New Years Day Results
I fished this tournament and had a blast, what a great way to start the New Year by fishing. Having said that I strickly donated to the pot with the lowest bag weighed in. Clear Lake is simply amazing, 47 to 49 degreee water temps and 9 bags over 20 pounds, let alone the stud who weighed in 29

I live in the East Bay and the closest Delta ramp to me is 30 minutes away. I learned to fish (such as it is) in the Delta and will always love the Delta for reasons that are too numerous to mention but it is a special place. Having said that it is widely known that Delta water has been under attack...

It sounds like you should conact the Sugar Barge on Bethel Island. They have an area that is only a few hundred feet from their ramp/ store/restaurant.
