I like my buzzbait to crawl almost subsurface. To achive this I add a trailer either a 5 inch grub or zoom split tail worm along with a Red gamie trailer hook. I use a dbl. buzz and hold my rod tip way high.

I have two...one is the old style shimano extra heavy that I spoon with the other is an extra heavy Loomis that I spoon and throw ALL my spook type lures as I cannot make the bait swim as well because I am a wimp....I mean because that's the way it is..I am?

May of 97' I had just gotten a new powerhead on my 200 Black Max. I had to put time on the engine and went up to Cachuma to start the process. The lake was positively Blue green with an unusal algae bloom and the wind was howling. I drove around for an hour and had to fish as it was driveing me nuts...
