Re: Where to launch in oroville tomorrow?
Never seen it that tough on Oro. 1 bite in 8 hours for two of us. Spoke to 2 other boats at the ramp, and for all 3 of us there were two fish caught. It was nice to launch on concrete. Main body was well stained & it muddied as you moved up the arms. Lots of floating debris. Be careful out there.

Just about impossible to beat that store. I ordered some stuff the other day, they processed the order same day and I had it the next with free shipping on the $50+ order.

Remember, the concept on this event is to be "different". One day is plenty. I'd have voted for ZERO days if that were an option. For guys that want to take multiple days off and fish most of the week, STREN and FLW fit that mold.

Cook,
For anything 1/2 ounce or more, I'm using the 734. I use the 703 for my 3/8 ounce stuff. I think you will love that 734 for the bigger football heads. It is a great combination.
Happy Fishing.

Hey RipBait, Kopper's advice is sound. That lake is NOT what it was last year at this time. I fished there for 5 straight days last week in prep for and during the WON Bass event. I struggled mightily on days 1-4 catching a small limit of fish or less each day. Finally, on Sunday of the WON event, w...

I think you'll be most happy with the 733. The 734 would possibly be a little heavy for your Senko use. The 733 and the 703 are the best balanced rods I've ever fished in my life. Take your reel to a store and slap it on each rod ... I bet you pick a 733. Enjoy!
