Congratulations ASH - A New Angler Is Amongst Us!

Wishing Jonathan and Lynne Ashcraft a VERY HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of their son, David Michael, who was brought into this world today at 1:10 AM!!! Love my HDS 10, and plan to get one for the bow to replace my 38HD soon.

My tribulations with the Humminbird 1197 are well documented here, and in comparison the Lowrance beats the Bird hands down.

No complaints here... not sure what everyone is beefing about on that other site.

From all of the Nutcases that I've been involved in planning, the hardest thing (and most important) to do is nail down a date that works for most. The rest is pretty easy. Nothing beats wool for me so far... been there, done that.

Haven't checked out the gloves that Steve mentioned, so might have to give them a try as 'The Kid" knows a little something, but the wool gloves (cover-up and fingerless) are timeless standards.

Depending on when you got out on the water, there may not have been much cheese to find as there was a fairly high tide, which started fairly early in the morning.

Hit the bottom of the tide and you'll find lots of cheese everywhere.
