I just watched Ross England's report on Clear Lake Status and I tend to agree. While the weather is still unsettled we are out of the woods on Clear Lake. They are still dumping water as is visible on the Rumsey gauge numbers but we are left with the perfect storms results. It's full.

We might get 4" tops....IMHO.....I went by Casitas. They moved the debris field from in front of the bridge on the other side of the road into Santa Ana before this storm so the water on the cement bridge we drive over by the campgrounds has water just touching the tops of the culvert tubes now...

Current State Data on Casitas is 50% on the state site. I just drove over to the lake to my eye it's way higher and has filled in a lot of nooks and crannies seems to be a low number for what I'm seeing plus there is no date on the Casitas numbers. Either way they are going to have a run on building...

55" of rain in Matilija canyon

31" inches in downtown Ojai.....Pretty impressive amount of water has come down in the canyon that is diverted to Casitas Lake. It makes me wonder how much fell in the March Miracle in years past. I lived here then but don't remember the specifics that filled both Cachuma and Casitas in 10 days...

At a time that the baitfish/bass/ and carp are all using the same water. I live in SoCal. Stan and Ken Vandenberg both outstanding fishermen have been my go to for 3 boats over the last 25 years. I like that they will work on those deductibles as the boat depreciates over time.

When I caught a 12.4 at Cachuma in 96 I was so screwed up I had to sit for awhile before I could cast. I was 39 :lol: At 66 it would be a nice way to die of a heart attack :wink: ....And I'd have a big ol' smile on my face when I got to the gate :mrgreen:

So I did a very minor search into Patagonia. You are right Tom the influence of money can be seen first hand. As Bad as Soros for our country in certain aspects. Prolly need a lot of rational people to become new water board members so it won't happen. To undue anything here is virtually impossible....

As of this afternoon1/12 something is broken and no water is going in until they replace/repair it and it doesn't sound like it'll get done anytime soon to me.

I rode my bike out to the lake. From what I could see from the wadeleigh arm the lake might have gone up 3-4 feet. It's what happens when you use a garden hose to fill a lake. I would think that between cloud seeding and mother nature due to the fact the Santa Ynez river is giving all of it's runoff to it that it will spill.
