Re: Getting fishing equipment appraised?????
I have carried a sporting equipment rider on my homeowners policy for years. It is just a set amount which I have adjusted a couple times. No appraisal was required. It is a good idea to create an inventory and either take pictures, or shoot a video of your equipment with a description of what the i...

Re: Let's talk big honking motors...
On most waters we fish, there is enough boat traffic that the noise that your motor makes probably does not make much difference. The fish are used to it. If they quit eating every time a boat passed they would get mighty hungry. The places there might be an exception would in a quiet slough, creek ...

Sun Glasses with progressive lenses
Just came from the eye doc with a new perscription. I have been using progressive lenses on my day to day glasses for quite a while now. I have also been using Solar Bats with bifocals. I love the Mossback color lenses, but when I wear them I really wish they were progressive instead of bifocal. Can...

I use 3/0 on 1/4 and 3/8 and 4/0 on 1/2, 3/4 and 1 oz. I use the black Owner structure hooks, not flippin's style. I don't put a weed guard on them. Most places I fish a football head, you don't need one.

The Front Ruuner is made by Norman lures. They may be out of production. They definitely will make a difference, espcially in clear water when fish are chasing bait. Try a google search for those places that still have them. For feathered trailers try making them yourself, it's not that hard. Go to ...
