Shimano part needed

I managed to lose the drag cap from my CI4 2500 spinning reel. The part number is 13263. I called Shimano who indicated they would not have the part in stock until August. Fishermans Warehouse had the same answer (August 25). Is there any other option (JDM part, Other reel model part which will fit, Another board sponser who has this part, etc.?). It kills me to have a nice reel unusable for want of a $6 part.

Check with Dan Isaac, Reel-Ex, 650-454-4938 www.reel-ex.com. He does maintenance on Shimano reels for many of us on this site. He post all the time.

We are out of good used drag knobs as well. We have been sending them out once we have a few to help customers out.
