Stradic ci4+ reeling noise

When I spin the reel handle it makes a knocking/dry sound. I recently cleaned the reel. The reel still functions just fine. Is this normal? Thanks

Did you completely disassemble the reel?

No, I dont do that when cleaning my reels. It can be risky IMO. Btw I have the same post on tackle tour. I saw ur response on there aswell.

Well I fished with the reel, as I didn't make the noise as I was using it. Works perfectly fine now
