Sturgeon

But since stripers are slow has anyone been doing any sturgeon fishing? Know where they are? What kind of bait? Tides matter?

i like to use lunker punkers for sturgeon....i fish in water 3-12 ft deep usually and walk the bait....mildred island,san joaquin river,big braek,franks tract just a few areas....i keep trying but i havent got a sturgeon doing this....i keep catching pesky striped bass and an occasionsal largemouth but i keep trying for the elusive sturgeon....i see them jumping alot....so u never know
