Hello all, I will be making my yearly trip to Clear Lake this year the very end of August. The bite has been WFO the last few years, as I have hammered them on cranks, blades, frogs and dropshot. I have a buddy of mine coming out from New Jersey this year and we would really like to go after some summertime swimbait fish on Clear Lake. Anyone have any advice?
Thanks in advance,
Nicholas

Re: Summertime Swimbaiting @ Clear Lake?
While I understand that most people aren't getting swimbait fish this time of year, I truly believe with how active those fish are at that time of year and how many bites you get, I have to believe that if one was to really bear down and chuck it all day, you could get some fish. Now, obviously it's tough to do so when the bite is WFO as it has been on everything else this time of year. Anyone else want to chime in? PLEASE????
