With one event to go, the points race has tightened up and 2 points is all that separates 1st and 2nd place. Manas Malikian is hanging on by one point ahead of Cliff Gregory. The final event will be on June 20th at Castaic Lake. While the bite at Castaic has been hot and cold all year, the falling water and summer traffic at the LA County impoundment will make this a test of the best to see who comes out on top. The Am race is not as tight but anything can happen when only 10 points seperates 1st and 2nd. Andy Levy is leading the race with Tom Fruh only 10 points behind and hot on Andy's trail with a victory in the last event.

Entries are being accepted as of now and I encourage anyone that has fished at least one prior event this season to not miss this one so you can be eligible to qualify for the TOC at Santa Margarita in late summer. Entry forms can be found on this site and at http://www.scalenews.com
