Hi guys,
I'm going to be fishing Clear Lake on Friday this week and the weather report says we will be having our first heat wave of the year (Tues-Thurs in the 80's). My question is do you guys notice a difference in how the fish bite following a heat wave?
Friday looks to drop about 20 degrees from Wed. I hoping this heat wave will drive a large amount of fish into the shallows.
Fish before during or after a heat wave?
Re: Fish before during or after a heat wave?
Pressure changes are what you need to worry about right now. Fishing a steady and falling barometer, good. Fast rising (typically day after storm) can make bite tough for several reasons.
Friday should be good. Should be fish in all phases of spawn cycle...
