Walters/LeMay outdistance field WON BASS Casitas 4/9

A dark overcast morning greeted 21 teams for the seventh event of the season on the WON BASS Casitas Region tournament trail. Travis Walters and Brandon LeMay outdistance the field with a five bass bag weighing 21.17 pounds to capture victory and $2,600.00 in cash. There five bass string was topped off by a beautiful 8.53 pound bass and vaulted the duo right into the thick of the Angler of the Year race. Second-place went to veterans Mike Arujo and Stan Vandeberg as they put together a five bass sack weighing 20.84 pounds to slide into second place and collected $1,010.00 in cash for their days work. In third place were the team of Cody Cook and Parker Marquez with another consistent finish and five bass weighing 20.14 pounds as they collected $760.00 in cash. Fourth place were the current leaders in the Angler of the Year race Brian Evans and Matt Newman as they once again had another five bass limit at 19.68 pounds and collected $210.00 in cash. And rounding out the money list were the father-son team of Kurt Ebken and KC Ebken with a five bass limit weighing 17.79 pounds as and they collected The Spencer Makenzie's Award and $200 in cash for their days work.
