Click button to protect deep sea fishing rights now please

Post by Otay Michael »

Just did my part, please do so too (from KEEP AMERICA FISHING) ...

In California, several environmental groups have filed a petition to list the Pacific bluefin tuna (PBT) as a threatened or endangered species.

While PBT has declined in recent years, international management strategies have been put in place and there is strong evidence the stock is recovering.

Listing PBT under the Endangered Species Act is unnecessary and would be ineffective management strategy because their primary habitat, including their spawning grounds, are not located in US waters. PBT spend most of their lives along the coastlines of several Asian countries in the western pacific.

Thanks you guys/gals :D
Even had my wife fill it out. Every vote counts.
We are only helping ourselves, or fellow fishermen if we don't fish salt (in that case, thanks for being selfless, makes you a very special person :o ).
