Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a coupler lock which would replace the non locking pin that was supplied with my trailer. Anyone able to find a locking pin for this?
A link to a picture for my style of coupler is below:

Re: Boat trailer coupler lock
I drilled out the hole at the bottom of the removable pin to accept a small padlock. I hope it will slow down the sneak thief, because they will just move on to a boat without a lock.
I used to have a pin with a barrel lock on the bottom, but it died, and it is no longer made.

C.T.Johnson (RHC34) Hitch Coupler Lock Set
This one works well. I like the fact that it locks and the peace of mind that its more secure than just the trailer latch alone.I found it on Amazon. I think you have to buy the set though.
Hope this helps.

Re: Boat trailer coupler lock
Have the same one . I ran a 10' cable from boat trailer to RV bumper . Came off trailer near the winch so it would hang above the tongue . Put a big A lock on it that can be seen for a mile.
Cable is one of those bike riders use supposed to be hard to cut with cable cutters .
Hoping site of it will stop them

I have the same setup, I just use a long shackle master lock, about 10 bucks at Home depot.
