Ultrex all the way! It's awesome. It's like the Fourtex with power steering AND spot lock

ditto on the Ultrex. Its the best trolling motor I have ever had. Best of both worlds...power assisted cable control and the ability to control with remote. Spot lock and jog (move over x feet at the touch of a button) features are amazing. Also it can link with fish finders charting (works with certain make model)

Thanks for the info. I prefer the resistance in the steering so I will stick with the Fortrex.

Love my Ultrex, the power steering is really nice when you have to get thru the weeds.
