From Bassin' With Bob Guide Service Clear Lake Ca.
This picture of the fish shack where I fished from for 18 years before moving a year ago, shows just high the water currently is at Clear Lake. Hopefully it will survive the next storm and high winds expected to hit tonight. Clear Lake is bounching around to about a foot over flood stage. Flood stage is at 9 ft and the lake is just under 10ft as of this post. The high water and high winds have done a "Major"" amount of damage to docks, seawalls, homes and roads around the lake. Many homes that are located next to the lake have water around and in them. I have not done a guide trip so far this year due to the extreme weather patterns of rain and wind. The lake is now officially closed and has been since last week. Once the lake drops below the flood stage of 9ft and it is decided that it is safe to do so, the lake will be opened back up. I have cancelled all of my trips into mid March and may have to go further if mother nature doesn't give us a break. ""Stay Tuned"" and God Bless

Our friend Heather Begun that helps all of us with the tournaments at Konocti Vista Casino has been overran by the flood waters of Clear Lake and has no choice but to leave her house. Please help someone that is always willing to help all of us if you can!
Horrible flooding in my home
This photo was before last nights rains. I will add more soon. There is about 5 inches of water in my home right now. Red Cross does not seem to want to help me and if they do they want my animals to go to the pound. My animals are my family. I am going to have to gut the house when it's all said and done to be able to move my disabled mom back home. I have depleted almost all of my saving to get this far. Anything will help, but as of right now we have to stay here. Prayers are needed also. Thank you in advance.
