Spinning rod for 3/32 range jigs

I bought a rod this year 7 foot 6 spinning rod to throw very light jigs but in end up being heavier than I expected as it is a st. Croix medium light and nowhere locally to get my hands on any really before ordering online. Looking for recommendations as considering the Phenix 762 but not set on anything yet as a do like how light their rods feel in the hand and tend to have a pretty true "fast" action.
