The Spokane Bass Club's April tournament was held on Lake Coeur d'Alene out of Sun-Up Bay. The lake has a reputation for giant bass and although many of the field struggled, two great limits were brought to the scales. It was pretty split on the largemouth vs. smallmouth that were weighed in, but largemouth took the win.
David Slater won and had big bass with a 19.02lbs and a 6.28lb big fish. He caught his fish in the Chain Lakes and reportedly caught them all late in the day. He won $420 plus an extra $140 for big bass. David and his partner Andrew Turman also won the team side pot and split an extra $80.
