Heading up to bullards on sunday for the first time any tips on where i should fish and what baits they like any input would be greatly appreciated thanks tightlines !!!

Senkos - either weightless or with a piece of nailweight, fished down the sides of bushes and trees work well in the post-spawn since they are a slow moving bait. Any color works as long as it is #301. Watch your line!!! Also, 6" Robo worms start being attractive to nice spots. I just Texas rig them, A client caught a near 8 lb spot using a morning dawn Robo worm last spring. Drop-shotting will become the better way to fish a worm as the summer approaches. Ripbaits in the early morning shadows will work for awhile longer.
