Considering a proposal to remove size and daily bag limits on bass, walleye and channel catfish

Post by WB Staff »

From Spokane Bass Club

We just received an email from WDFW that says "WDFW staff is considering a proposal to remove size and daily bag limits on bass, walleye and channel catfish in all streams and rivers in Washington State."
Thoughts?

The email also says "we are taking feedback/ideas from both our staff and the general public with the hopes of having fewer sport rules, simpler sport rules and a re-formatting of our sport rules (regulations) pamphlet so it is easier to navigate."

Obviously WDFW would prefer if these fish species were eradicated but they disguise their agenda as "simplifying sport rules" which makes it sound like they're doing the fisherman a favor.

I wish these A-holes would just do their job and protect what we have instead of playing politics.

Ridiculously shady proposal. Hopefully the Washington state fishing community will not fall for that horse turd.
