Each year in December the Spokane Bass Club has their year end award banquet. We have raffles, food, laughs and also give out the awards for the year. This year we had five plaques given out; 1st, 2nd and 3rd in angler of the year points and an award for the biggest smallmouth and biggest largemouth.
Angler of the Year - Tyler Brinks
Tyler won the Angler of the Year with 226 points after dropping his lowest finish. During the season he had one win, one second place and two thirds.
2nd Place AOY - Wyatt Berkel
Wyatt finished second with 211 points. He had a consistent season that included a second and a third-place finish.
3rd Place AOY - Damon Smith
Damon fished most of the season as a non-boater and had a great run to achieve 197 points. He finished second at Dworshak Reservoir.
Big Largemouth - David Slater
David won this award for his 6.28lb fish he caught during his win at Lake Coeur d'Alene.
Big Smallmouth - Willie Mustered
The biggest smallmouth was also caught at Lake CDA and the 4.98lb fish was part of his second place finish at that event.
Congrats to all of the winners!
