2007 BassCat Pantera 4

Post by Dougfish »

Hi WesternBass,
I have a 2007 BassCat Pantera 4 with 2006 200hp Mercury Optimax with SmartCraft gauge system for sale.

This is a tournament boat with 754hrs and has bumps and dings, but she has many upgrades, starts everytime and never let me down.

It has everything needed to be competitive and most key components have been changed, except steering. There is a little play in the steering and will need to be serviced eventually.

I just had 100hr service completed at boatmasters

- Ultrex 112lb trolling motor
- HDS12 gen 3 Mounted on Sherms marine mount on console with Total Scan transducer, point 1 GPS, and Sonic Hub 2
- Humminbird 959HD Di on bow of boat with DI transducer on transducer shield & GPS Puck
- 4 new batteries, Group 31's for the trolling motor
- Replaced the trailer axle, brakes, and bearings
- New 3"x 6" trailer bunks
- New trailer winch
- New Alternator
- New Trim motor

$19,500 with Ultrex trolling motor
or
$18,000 with 109lb motorguide trolling motor

Only selling because I want a bigger boat with powerpoles. I have a pre-approved loan. Open to trades for this boat plus I add cash if you have a 2008 or newer boat with 250hp and powerpoles. I know its a long shot, but who knows, can't hurt to mention.

Serious buyers, Please text

Since you just had Boatmasters service did you get compression readings? Did they have indications of problem with the loose steering? How old are the 2 different trolling motors? Where can rig be seen at? Thanks

Boatmasters did typical 100hr service. I didn't get a reading on compression this time, but I had done last year and its runs perfect. When I dropped it off last week, I wasn't looking to sell boat until I looked at the new Lynx, so I went for a loan on it, however I could only qualify for the $70,000 boat, lol..
You can call and talk to Drew and ask questions about the boat if you are serious. They replaced diaphragm kit, impeller, primer bulb, spark plugs, replaced gear oil, and a filter.

They told me the steering would need to be rebuilt soon as it was loose, that was how I got the indication that steering was loose.

The Ultrex is about 6 months old, I guess.

No idea on the age of the Motorguide as it came with the boat.

I know you are in Sacto area somewhere but what city? What days are you available for rig to be looked at?

I actually have the boat in Fairfield on Travis AFB & I can meet Mon, Tues, Wed after work. After that I will be out of town for the weekend. Back next Tuesday and boat will be in Sacramento.

Sounds good, I will take pics of scratches and dings this morning and send to you if you text me.
This boat is a solid tournament fishing boat with everything you need to compete, but not showroom quality. Like I said above, really the only concern to me is the steering will probably need to be re-done in the next year or so. Other than that, the only issues are cosmetic scratches and bumps.
