Place to stay at Camanche

Post by mrheuby »

I have a tournement up at Camanche this weekend and I am having trouble finding a place to stay were I could charge my batterys. I called the North and South resorts and they refused to let me stay in a RV site with hookups without having a RV. Thay also refused to rent me one of their cabins for just one night. This is the first place to do that. So I am kind of stuck And with gas prices it could get pricey to travel home and back. Any help would be appreciated.

They wont let you rent a cabin for one night? I have before. I guess you could stay in Galt. there is a Holiday Inn Express there. Short drive to the lake.

Brian's right..Galt or Lodi are the only real options. The Holiday Inn or there is a Comfort Inn on Twin Cities Rd, near the highway. It's about 20 min from North Shore.

We are running into a similiar problem. This place wants $68.50 for us to stay in a tent? Their kidding right? NOT! You must stay for 2 nights @ $30 a night and $8.50 registration fee. My God. Heck then I have to try and steal power somewhere to charge the batteries.

Not sure I feel my boat and equipment would be secure enough to stay in Lodi or Galt either. Are the local hotel/motels near Camanche decent and somewhat secure?

If I can find power somehwhere I'll sleep on the boat or in my truck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tried Jackson Rancheria and they were full for that weekend already. Thanks. Haven't looked in Valley Springs yet but will.
