I like the kalins. they have been around forever.
I would like to find a grub that bigger but have not.
Not just longer. And inch or so longer but also fatter.

Re: best 5inch bass grub
Texas -rig sure keeps em from getting stuck. Imade some of my own w/ EWG 3/0 that I was happy with-sprayed 'em green.
The 1/16 Swimming Senko jig head G.Yamamoto) is sure nice....but can get a little costly.

Kalin's Mogambo grub might be what you're looking for in a bigger grub. For something that's even bigger, their Big'N grub is something like 10" long and over an inch in diameter...jimmy87 wrote:I like the kalins. they have been around forever.

Re: best 5inch bass grub
Kalin has always made a good grub and they have been around a long time. After using the Yamamoto grubs since 1985 under every possible condition and rigging, and knowing a bit about their manufacturing process, I think they are unbeatable for all-around effectiveness and color choice.
