Congrats to a couple of Berserk Bait Elite Staff Members today, John Myers, Don Longton Ryan Cook and Eric Souza..... a 11.95 on a jig, what a ride. Great job John that's two in the last couple of months of each other. You are one of the strongest jig fisherman I know and that Berserk jig is magic in your hands,.. The rest of the guys better get sum of them jigs if the want to keep up with ya Great job to both teams. I can answer your question Slim to none it was the same fish.

No it was not on a bed i'm sure she was warming up next to some rocks. The fish I caught on Feb 6th was caught several miles away plus she weighed in at 11.31lbs. Also, the mouth on the 11.95lb fish was much bigger then the other.

Just think on how many fish over 10 lbs are in lake Don Pedro.

Brother Sker13, good to see you again and thanks too. We did have 4 smallmouth but we culled them out during the day.

1/2 oz Purple Hornet Jig by Berserk Baits, check the www.BaitBarn.net web site. (Normally I would never say but most will not believe anyhow)

BTW that jig looked like a smashed mosquito in the top of her mouth.

How many of you guys have caught bed fish this year? I haven't. Hell in February I was still fishing Humps.

I can guarantee that it wasn't the same fish. I lip landed the 11.31 and netted the 11.95, they were several miles apart. One was caught in 35-40 feet of water and the other in less than 6 feet. The first fish had a much smaller head and mouth than the 11.95, John is a good fisherman, but not good enough to bed fish in 40 feet of water. We had fished the bank where the 11.95 was caught earlier in the morning and did not receive a bite, we had left the area and fished some of my junk water, when John said he had a feeling we needed to go back to the other bank. Upon arrival another boat was on the place he wanted to fish, so we went the other way up the bank and she doinked it and John hammerdogged her.
