Shasta help

Any of you Shasta guys have any tips for figuring out the lake right now? I was down there this weekend and fished 19 hours in two days and only boated 3 keepers. I know they just dropped the water level real fast, is that why it is fishing so tough, I had a hard time even graphing fish, I'm headed down to fish a small club tourney next weekend, any help would be great, thanks

Without going into too much detail, if you are trying to graph fish this time of year then you are looking in the wrong spots.

I would go by the Great Outdoors and ask for Neil. He will help you get some fish in the boat. Dart heads worms, rip baits on the windy stuff and hula grubs. Some tournament guys are getting 20 plus regularly. Fish are up starting to spawn. I caught a 4.5 that was spawned out on saturday the 9th.
