lodging at Clearlake??

I will be going to Clearlake July 20-24th and need to get lodging arrangements made. Which end of the lake would be better to book a hotel. Any recommendations on cheap lodging for 4 guys?

Just How cheap? I mean split 4 ways the whole lake is cheap!

The Konocti casino in Kelsyville will most likely still have rooms. If you don't need to stay on the water the Robinsons Rancharia in Nice is about the same price. Your hitting peak season at that time. Our old place in Glenhaven was booked a year in advance for that time period so you may have to try the Chamber of Commerce in Lakeport for some ideas.

I just posted some info on a new place to stay In Clear Lake, check it out at www.lakeescaperesort.com, on the upper end of the lake, you might want to check out the cottages at the Mallard house, they are also on the water with their own dock.
