SWIM JIGS?

Post by Tony Lain »

Question for you shallow water experts... Any tips for fishing swim jigs? Was looking at those new Revenge Baits swim jigs and think I might need to add this technique to my tool box for next season. TL

This is not new to the folks that fish around shallow water and grass.
But for the masses still looking for a technique.

Pick up your favorite punch skirt and peg it onto the front of small swim body.
Using an unweighted hook, texpose swimbody. the skirt will get you through the grass very easy.

Just put on a punch stop, punch skirt, your favorite EWG hook. After riggin your swim body, pull the stopper/plastic down tight onto hook.

Toni,
Obviously everyone has their own way of fine-tuning a technique but this is a detailed explanation of how I have found the most success with a swim jig.
