Minn Kota 101 Fortrex power button sticking

Just recently my power button will stick on after removing my foot from foot pedal. I have to step on the button again to make it stop. Anyone have any ideas whats going on?

I had the same problem, it was the spring. Put in new spring and I haven't had any more problems

lambert here, the reed switch is set to high.
you can adjust it by removing the push button
and very gently pushing it down just a hair.
it's to close to the magnet under the button
you just removed. these new motors are very picky
about that. if you push it down to much you can push
it up from the bottom. it only needs to move a small amount.
