Going To Clear Lake On Friday 10-4-13 Any Tips ?

Heading to Clear Lake on Friday 10-4-13 for a day of fishing with my son..... Any tips so we can catch a Giant ? lol

In the last week ive heard of a 10 on a buzzbait, a 10 on a jig ,a 10 on a dropshot, a 11 on a huddleston and a 13 on a jig . you can catch a big one on just about anything .all of those fish were midlake and south.

Bigger fish were caught last week at Shag rock with jigs, also try Reaction Innovation Double Wide Beavers. I like to use Texas rig. Fish slower, watch your line for pickups. Try rocky structure & drop offs. I fish mostly south & there's alot of oportunities for bigs! Good luck & have fun! We also caught a few on 5" senkos around docks. 6 lbs range. If the wind permits it's worth a try. Been throwing 6" all season until last trip without much luck. I guess the smaller profile is the ticket right now!
