SITE UPGRADE LAST NIGHT

Last night, WesternBass underwent a major site upgrade.

There are some new site improvements that have begun.

We will be working out any glitches over the next couple of days.

Am I the only one who now has to log in on every visit? Even though I clicked on "Remember me".

Unable to post a picture to new topic in classifieds. It gives me the IMG markers but won't allow the picture to be inserted.

I can see that some others are getting it to work. I am on a Mac running Safari and/or Firefox.

Site loads more slowly.
Opening a thread loads more slowly.
It seems to take longer to load an embedded video.

how do i know if the tread has been read use to turn color on the side of the tread. red to blue etc. talking about on the classifieds.

Win7 on PC with Firefox version 37.0.2 - (latest version)

The outline of the small box at the left of the topic title changes color - The post are red if you HAVEN"T viewed them and dark blue, once you HAVE viewed them.

This may help also. You can choose NEW POSTS or UNREAD POSTS

Everything should speed up, once all the glitches are dealt with.

This was quite an undertaking for a very large site.

You can choose NEW POSTS OR UNREAD POSTS.

Have you tried the Photo Uploader? It should be quick and easy.

It is located in the interactive menu shown in the image below and there is a quick step-by-step instruction here. http://www.westernbass.com/forum/new-qu ... 91502.html

Click on the Photo Upload page directly by accessing it in the "interactive" pull down menu and clicking on "photo upload" (see image below)

Enter the title, browse and select photo, click upload. That's it!

Why all these changes and wasn't it updated not too long ago ???? Seems like every few month or so there's another version.

Time speeds by... actually, the last site upgrade was done in Nov 2013 about a year and a half ago.

Tech changes quickly - think about all the upgrades that have occurred in cell phones and devices over the last year and a half.

For me, it shows up as a "pencil" on the icon.

Is that the same for you?

Your correct, it's a pencil if you want to do an edit on your msg.

Not showing as a color change when having read a post on any board. The only time it changes is if you submit a comment to the thread
