What's happening with the Hook's tournaments, now that Gene is no longer involved?

Someone from the Hook needs to chime in on this as Gene has always run the events and I'm not aware of anybody else there to carry this on. Whats the hap's for sure would be helpful considering those are asap on the schedule.

Gene posted the tournament dates. What makes you think he is not involved ? I thought he was running them.

Why would he be running a tourney circuit where he is no longer employed?

I stopped by the Hook, and the guys there said Gene had retired three days before, and was no longer involved with the tournaments. They said they would post more details here, but I haven't seen anything so far, and it's been a couple of weeks now.

I just spoke to the Hook, and they say they'll have details and entry forms on their website sometime next week.

The Hook Line and Sinker Tournaments are still taking place. We are working out the loose ends currently, and im looking forward to this up coming season. If anyone has specific questions before we get out entree form and rules posted please call the shop @ (925) 625 2441 and ask for either Gabe Snyder or Gerald Malpass.
