It's time to replace my Trolling motor it been 6 years and I have beat the crap out of it. But they don't make the motor guide 56lbs any more, plus I want the new Spring assisted Gator Mount.
So do I go with the 54lbs or the 70 lbs model.
What do you Nutcases think?

if you must go motor guide .. go with the 70 .. also i have been told by a reliable source that the only difference between the 70 and 80 lb thrust is the prop . so if you buy a 70 check around..places like motor guide or mercury ( who i believe own motor guide) or gene at the hook and if true get yourself the 80 lb prop ..bob
