USAC Alamo Results 2-25-12

Congratulations to Justin Patti and Dustin Robinson on smoking the field today at alamo. Justin and Dustin brought in 5 fish that weighed 23.57lbs. Their bag included a 6.40lb largemouth caught by Dustin which was big fish of the tournament and an identical 6.36lb largemouth caught by Justin at the very end of the day. They also had a fish over 5lbs and reported that they lost two other big fish. For the sweep the two took home $1960. Finishing in second place and catching the second big fish of the tournament was the team of Mathew Hicks and Joel Floyd. Matt and Joel weighed 18.44lbs with a big fish of 6.16lbs. For their catch they took home $1165. Third place on the day went to the new team of Shane Moline and Tina Kennedy. Shane and Tina had a limit of bass then went 15.96lbs good for $530. Fourth place and third big fish of the event went to the team of Tim Townsley and Tim Todd. "Team Tim" weighed a limit of bass that went 15.64lbs with a big fish of 5.79 good for $670.

I want to thank the 23 teams that came out today as we could not have asked for better weather and fishing. Our next event is March 17 at Lake Havasu. This should be an awesome bed fish tournament with loads of smallmouth to be caught.
