The Lake was smooth as glass and the sun was just beginning to peak over the mountains as we were ready to blast off for our inaugural event of the 2012 season. Most of the anglers reported a descent bite during their prefishing and 6 out of 7 teams caught limits during this event. John Flynn and Scott lamberton weighed in their 5 Bass limit and topped the field with a weight of 13.33. They took home $574.00 in cash for their win.Tony Vultaggio and Jeff Perry last years anglers of the year for USAC Cacuhma Pro Teams brought in an impressive limit weighing 12.63 to capture 2nd place and $242.00 for their efforts. Father and son team of Larry and Jason Marquez caught the tournament Big Bass weighing 3.34 and a total weight of 12.31. They reported the Big Bass being caught on a Rattle Trap. They won $125.00 for tournament Big Bass. The top 6 teams all brought limits to the scales. Our 7th place angler got on the water well after blast off and fished solo. He missed the early morning bite and still brought 3 bass to the weigh in we appreciate his participation and the participation of all the anglers who showed up to the event.
