I'm trying to decide whether to purchase the '13 Avalanche or the '14 Tundra Crewmax. I would be using it to tow a 21' bass boat , hunting and driving here and there. The truck will not be used as a daily driver, I have a commuter car for that.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Tundra all the way. I have a 2010 and I tow a 30ft forest River travel trailer around 7500 to 8000 and no problems and low rpms at highway speeds. Tow mode is nice also when really heavy it makes the shifts longer.
