He did pretty well for us last year, but Rodney was on a roll 5 for 5 save opportunities. Its Fuentes job to lose.

sure he did. But hear me out. We play small ball. We play a TON of close ball games. We generate a lot of save opportunities. Any decent pitcher is going to be able rack up the saves in a Halo jersey. Fuentes in my opinion is not dominant enough to be a closer. He should be a set up man. He doesnt have game ending stuff this year. Its obvious. Rodney was pretty good in detroit and his first shot here he goes 5 for 5. I think he retired 15 of the 16 batters he faced. The dudes got that killer intstinct, plus he just looks like a closer. Dudes a rhino. Big mean and has filthy stuff. Granted i know how loyal Scioscia is to his players and thats part of the dynamic he tries to establish in the clubhouse, but even he has to see the writing on the wall at some point.

That was a fun one last night. Halos are getting some life to them, Im liking it.

Tonights my bachelor party so ill be watching the game, but I have a feeling ill have several pairs of screen blockers in my face all night according to the best man. 3 sets of screen blockers to be exact I might even forget a game is on.
