FreeFire Media Seeking Experienced Videographer/Editor

FreeFire Media is looking for a talented, passionate shooter/editor to join our TV show production team in our Mandeville, LA office.

The right candidate must have experience filming and editing TV show episodes such as multicam studio, interviews, field pieces, commercials and custom client videos. Must be comfortable using professional video cameras as well as audio recording equipment.

Ability to edit quickly, efficiently and integrate notes on the fly with full understanding of network specifications for output and upload including an understanding of codecs, exporting, transcoding and converting video files is a must.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in film, television, graphic or motion design, or minimum of three years professional experience preferred
Advanced camera operation skills and highly creative/skilled in storytelling.
TV Show experience with 3-5 years of hands-on relevant editing experience. Demo reel is required.
Expert understanding of post-production software: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and other Creative Cloud programs, as well as Excel and Word.
Skilled knowledge of camera, lighting, and sound.
Expert level sense for timing, pacing, working with music and collaborating with producers to create content that meets strict creative and technical standards our company is committed to providing.
A strong creative vision that is both inspired and commercial. Proven experience as a storyteller for news, featured stories, and short form doc style content a plus.

Must be able to multi-task, be personable with producers, take direction, and work on strict deadlines
A genuine interest in and aptitude for the type of shows Free Fire Media produces.
Strong work ethic that is positive and can work collaboratively with team under pressure, great people skills, high integrity, and organizational skills (both with media management & personally)
Must be able to shoot compelling video while managing and maintaining video production gear.
Salary: $30,000 - $50,000, plus benefits, including 401K.
Must be willing to obtain Hunters Safety certification and/or NRA range safety certification.
