Great event, AGAIN!

Post by Colebass »

Cooch, Tony, Gator and the WHOLE Staff! You guys were great today. All your efforts didn't go unnoticed. I had a great time with the two young men I had with me. Both fished hard and I hope will come back next year!

Thanks for the invite! See you next year.

Great job guys! Very well run. I had a ball fishing with Stephan Mohajar. This kid mached me cast for cast, fish for fish, and he's only 13! He's going to be taking our money before long.

What an Awesome Event! Cooch as the MC is right up there with FISH FISHBURNE! I was pumped up and excited seeing those big Delta Bass Come in.

This was my first year attending and I will be back. I camped out Saturday night and took a family of teens out fishing with me in Franks Tract until 8:30pm, we didnt catch a thing and these young men were just all grins!

My teen Kevin, works at AIM marine and had better gear then I do, I think more tackle as well  We had lots of fun, I let him run the trolling motor for half the day tacking first cast with his homemade chatterbait type jig. He fishes the Stren Sieres as an AM this year and I expect to see him as a PRO within the next year or two.

What a great weekend, thank you to Cooch, Gator, Stony, Rich Thiel, and SPONSORS, and behind the scenes guys who made this event happen!

Cooch, sTony, Gator, and CREW.

Congratulations on another great event, and a special thanks to my teen for spending the day fishing with me. This event always helps to remind me why I do this thing called fishin'. FOR FUN, and
I don't think the reminder ever hurts any of us! Smiles everywhere yesterday, quite a site!
Also, another special thanks to the gentlemen who pulled over on the Concord Grade to help me with my blowout! THANK YOU very much!

Dang fiberglass fenders suck when a tire lets go at speed though.

What a GREAT event!

Cooch, this is what our sport is all about...I'm there for 'ya again next year! My boys had the ultimate experience! The 17yr old caught his PB, a 6 plus, but my 13yr old beat him by a nat! The smack talk has officially begun in our house till next year!...

I got a chance to put some faces to the names on this site while working with the dedicated crew who ran this event. There is an incredible amount of work behind the scenes to put on this show, and the energy of Cooch, Lee, Tony, and crew kept us going.

Now my question to Steve is...Did you have to purchase that "custom lure" on a street corner in Oakland?...I guess the fish just kept comming back to hit it?...
If you always do what you did, you will always get what you got!

You must be talkin' about that "custom crackbait" I wondered about that myself!

A big THANK YOU to all the staff and everyone that attended. I look foward to these events every year. I have been totally impressed with all the people I have met. Just plain good folks, do you screen these people Cooch :D ?
I would of liked to help my teen out a little more, but Jeff Giacoletto assured me he had a great time, I tried but I kept reminding him that I have a reputation to uphold!
I planned on staying for the grub and wanted to meet a bunch of you, but the two days of bright sun got to me. I have a condition and I'm on some meds that warn me to stay out of the sun. I pushed it as long as I could.
I hope you all had as good a time as I did and hope to see you next time.
I had to come back...I know...
