Lake is in great shape and fishing is good for 48 degree water. ABA today should have some good bags. Our local club tournament yesterday took 26 + to win. I took third with 20.87. Fish being caught on A rigs, swimbaits , Rattletraps, Jigs, Dropsot, Chatterbaits, ripbaits . If it stays warm the bite should really turn on this week.

Third, great job Dave! You guys all stocked up on the 8 and 10 XD's? Been trying to figure out when I could get back up there and it sounds like its about time. Need some cleaner anyway so I ALWAYS end up stopping by the shop there.

Yes we have 8 and 10 xd s in stock. We also have some custom painted ones. Last year Super Bowl sunday it snowed. Yesterday was 75 degrees and it was 60 at 6 am in Lakeport this morning. 29+ to win ABA yesterday.
Our winter hours are Monday thru Sat 7am-5pm.
We will change hours with daylight savings to 7am-6pm open every day.

As of the end of January, Clear Lake was measured at 4.34 Rumsey. Which is great news considering last years highest water mark was 4.55 Rumsey. I'm anticipating the water levels to be excellent this year with of the rain in this years forecast.

I was there yesterday (Tues), and water looks great. I think it was 4.60 yesterday - sort of steady now. Very little debris - but watch for birds. An amazing population of them using the lake now!!! Even caught a few bass!

Lake is at 4.89 now so we still need some rain to fill it up (full is 7.56)
The rain and cold fronts dropped the water temps last weekend back in to 49 degree range but the warm days this week have brought it back in the 50 s.
Crappie limits everywhere!
Guys are getting fish on everything.Throw what you have confidence in.
Lv 500 ,jigs, ripbaits and swimbaits are getting the better fish.

So if Clear Lake just hit full pool are the creeks flowing hard enough they had to increase the outflow?

Question if anyone knows.. I've read about the lake being closed off so does this means it's fully closed or just to motorized vessels only?

I think it's closed to all motorized boats. Kayaks etc are ok from what I understand. Call Clearlake Outdoors, they ll know for sure!
