Tony Lain wrote:Not starting a debate... Some anglers hate it when Bass are "bounced", especially when we see our Elite and Tour level anglers do it. I agree. I make sure that I "bounce" them with care and never let them bang against anything in the boat. Lets be honest, nets can cause damage too... so do hook sets, bringing fish up from deep water, live wells... Have "FUN"!!
If you fun fishing why even "bounce them with care", why not just bend over & lip them? If you loose them you loose them your just fun fishing.

So....where are the big bass, all I see a few average bass being fairly gently lifted into the boat, wouldn't call that bouncing em! Different strokes for different folks.

To ALL you critics that love to share your "negative" opinions (behind screen names), I go fishing to escape "drama". The end.

I don't know why folks say the net is not cool, it gets wet before it touches the slime coat, so it does not remove it, wouldn't you think? Obviously the carpet does, I cringe when i have to 'bounce them' myself.

By the way, congrats on a nice day on the water and landing so many.

You created your own drama by posting the vedio. The whale that surfaces gets harpooned!

I don't think anyone would have said anything about the video. It was the comment he posted right after the video that made me question him.
