OES update the below map is dated 4/17 and is the newest update since the map dated 3/29. Looks like there are still closures but the tide window limitation areas that were in "orange" are lifted.
OES posted the following info with the map:
As of this notice all rivers and other waterways highlighted in pink on the attached map(s) remain closed to recreational boating traffic until further notice by the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services.
Closure Area:
The pink area highlighted area on the map is closed to recreational boating traffic.
The closed area includes:
- The San Joaquin River from the south San Joaquin County line with Stanislaus County to the San Joaquin River Deep Water Channel;
- Fabian And Bell Canal;
- Grant Line Canal east of the bridge at Tracy Boulevard;
- Old River and its tributaries (including Tom Paine Slough, Salmon Slough & Paradise Cut) to the south and east (upstream) of Hammer Island at the Alameda County boundary with San Joaquin County to the San Joaquin River;
- Middle River upstream from Trapper Slough at the Highway 4 bridge.
Exceptions:
1) The closure described above, as shown on the attached map, does not apply to emergency vessels, commercial vessels, or vessels operating to perform maintenance, inspection and/or repair to Delta levees as approved by the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services.
2) Please keep in mind throughout our waterways that waves against the levees, particularly at high tides may cause levee erosion, which threatens levee integrity.
