Boat Question/ Should I sell or run it til she goes?

I have a 1993 Stratos Fish and Ski with a 115 HP Johnson. I recently took it in to get the impeller replaced and found out one of the cylinders is running at 40% and I need a new VFO ($1000 to replace).

Not sure what to do with it. I have been told to run it until it goes. I have also been told to sell it and try and get some money.

Would there be anyone interested in a boat in this condition? Or should I go all in and run it until she goes?

Any advise would be helpful.

If you fish anywhere its a LONG way back. Find a newer boat and sell it for what you can get.
If you don't want to haul it to the junk yard because nobody buys a blown boat and motor that old, sell for what you can get and upgrade.
If you start to worry that you may not get back or limit how far you go because of it, sell it and get a replacement
if its nickel and dime ing you sell it and look for a replacement

Boats are holes you throw money into. Figure a break point and stick to it

Good luck
