Boca Bearings question.

For those of you who upgrade your reel bearings, have you noticed a BIG difference between the ABEC5's to the ABEC7"S???

The abec rating is a tolerance not a quality. The main source of friction in the spool assembly is the cast control devices. Better quaility might last longer.

It really depends on the application and the reel. Some reels higher ABEC ratings will show significant difference. Other more current models not so much. Dan
