Many Boat Insurance policies carry assist/towing coverage ...... which I am sure is cheaper than trying buy stand-alone coverage. Try Ben Green:

I have had it for years and had to use them a few times, worth it in my opinion. They were good to deal with and pretty quick to get out to the boat and get us back to the marina. I do not have on the water towing thru my insurance company State Farm. If you have multiple boats in your name they cover all of them under the same policy which is helpful.

Interesting .... I have had a Farmers/Foremost policy and now a Safeco policy thru Ben Green Insurance (WB sponsor) and they both included as part of the policy "on the water" towing/assist. My Safeco is $1000/No Deductible for vessel assist.

Give Ben a call...... he will get you set up with coverage for a bass boat: Boat, Motor, Trailer, electronics and coverage for ALL of your tackle.
