I would hope all tournament organizations out West and California consider this common sense approach to keeping the fish healthy. RR

I've had to use these clips for the College BASS tournaments and in my opinion the clips put more pressure on the fish's mouth than the puncture when the puncture is properly run through the gills. I've gone to grab fish that had the clips and my hands go right through the soft spot I had clipped. I've never had a fish die on either system though.
